1. Indoor installation: LED strip for indoor decoration, because it does not have to withstand the wind and rain, so the installation is very simple. Take Blue King’s LED strip as an example, each LED strip has a self-adhesive 3M double-sided adhesive on the back, you can directly tear off the 3M double-sided adhesive surface sticker when installing, then fix the strip in the place where it needs to be installed, and press the flat by hand. 2. Outdoor installation: LED strip outdoor installation because it will be subject to wind and rain, if the 3M adhesive fixed, time will cause the 3M adhesive to reduce the adhesion of the LED strip off, so outdoor installation often use the slot fixed way, the need to cut and connect the place, the same method and indoor installation, but need to be equipped with additional waterproof adhesive to consolidate the waterproof effect of the connection point.

3. Pay attention to the connection distance of the LED strip: generally speaking, the 3528 series of LED strip, the maximum connection distance is 20 meters, 5050 series of LED strip, the maximum connection distance is 15 meters. If beyond this connection distance, the LED strip is easy to heat up, the use of the process will affect the service life of the LED strip. Therefore, the installation must be installed in accordance with the requirements of the manufacturer, do not let the LED strip overload operation.

LED strip light installation precautions

1. In the case of the entire volume of the strip is not removed from the packaging or stacked into a mass, do not power on the LED strip.

2. According to the installation length of the site need to cut the strip, only in the printed scissors mark cut the strip, otherwise it will cause one of the units do not light, the general length of each unit is 1.5-2 meters.

3. Connected to the power supply or two lights in series, first to the left and right bend the head of the colorful lights, so that the wires inside the strip exposed about 2-3mm, cut cleanly with a pair of scissors, do not leave burrs, and then use the male to connect, in order to avoid short circuit.

4. Only the same specifications, the same voltage lights can be connected in series with each other, and the total length of the series connection must not exceed the maximum permitted length.

5. When the lights are connected in series with each other, each connected section, that is, try to light up a section, in order to find out in time whether the positive and negative poles are connected to the wrong and each section of the light is consistent with the direction of light emission.

6. The end of the strip must be covered with a PVC tail plug, tied with a clamp, and then sealed around the interface with neutral glass glue to ensure safety.

7. Because the LED has a one-way conductivity, if you use a power cord with AC/DC converter, should be completed after the power connection, first power test to determine the positive and negative connection is correct before putting into use.
